Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh received and worked with the Cuban Ministry of Transport delegation led by Deputy Minister Eduardo Rodriguez on July 7th . There were leaders of functional departments and agencies under the MoC, representative of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment at the reception.

At the working session, the Cuban Deputy Minister of Transport Eduardo Rodriguez highly appreciated the traditional friendship and cooperation between the Party, Government and People of Vietnam – Cuba, and also said the Cuban Ministry of Transport were very interested in promoting cooperation with ministries and sectors of Vietnam, including the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Transport.
Deputy Minister Eduardo Rodriguez said that in recent years, many Vietnam companies have been implementing cooperation projects in Cuba in many fields such as: Construction material production, tourism development and real estate business. At the same time, agencies and enterprises of both sides constantly expand cooperation in other fields such as civil aviation, transportation and shipping.

Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh congratulated the visit of the Cuban Transport Minister – Eduardo Rodriguez to the Vietnam MoC, and also said that the friendly relation between the Party and People of Vietnam – Cuba have been developing, especially after the visit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to Cuba in March/2018.
Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh stressed that the MoC as the Chair of the Vietnam Sub-Committee in the Intergovernmental Committee of Vietnam – Cuba always promoted the cooperation between two countries and facilitated the Vietnam enterprises to speed up the implementation of cooperation projects, to implement the commitments in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the meetings of the Vietnam – Cuba Intergovernmental Committee (UBLCP).

Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh expressed her belief on the mutual cocern, understanding and trust, the cooperation between Vietnam – Cuba in general, between the Vietnam MoC and the Cuban Ministry of Transport in particular have been developing and achieving important achievements.
