Minister Pham Hong Ha receives Algeria Ambassador in Vietnam

At the working session, the Ambassador Mohamed Berrah has expressed his wish to visit and work with the MoC, and sent congratulation to Minister Ha who newly appointed as the Minister of MoC by Vietnam Government and National Assembly.

“The good friendly ties between Vietnam and Algeria which have been formed and developed in many years, but still had many unexploited potential to boost cooperation ties on trade. Thus, both countries should further enhance the visits of leaders at all levels, expert delegations, chambers of commerce as well as strengthening exchanges and cooperations between enterprises”, said Mr Ambassador.

Mr Ambassdor made important issues which would be cooperated with Vietnam at the 11th Session of Vietnam – Algeria Intergovernment Commission, espeically cooperating on fisheries and construction field; exchanging Vietnam’s suscessful experiences while joining WTO and issues of tourism, culure and education toward to 55th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between two countries.

Minister Pham Hong Ha highly appreciated the support and assistance of the Angerian Government and People to Vietnam over the years, and agreed with Ambassador’s ideas on trading cooperation ties between Vietnam and Algeria.

Minister Ha also agreed with orientations and focused contents between two countries made by the Ambassador such as strengthening the exchange of delegations at all levels; expanding trading investment promotion; organizing trade fairs and exhibitons; strengthening cultural and educational exhanges; focusing on expanding cooperation in the oil gas and telecommunication sector.

“The Vietnam - Algeria Intergovernment Commission and Friendship Association need to promote critical role in proposing specific cooperation forms and contents to foster multifaces cooperation relationship between both countries”, said Minister Ha.

The MoC will actively review and eveluate all agreements signed between two countries, to propose suitable adjustments with current conditions, in order to further improve cooperation ties in the coming time.

Minister Ha has expressed his desire Algeria Ambassy to Vietnam in general and Mr Mohamed Berrah in particular to closely and efficiently coordinate with the MoC in preparing the contents for the 11th Session of Vietnam - Algeria Intergovernment Commission. Minister Ha proposed the Algeria side to active the Session’s timing and program scripts to early inform the Vietnam MoC for consideration and best preparation.

Minister Ha has expressed his belief on Mr Ambassador’s role, experiences and enthusiam to contribute to promoting cooperation ties between both countries to a new height.
