On June 2, in Hanoi, Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung received Ms. Jutta Giera Frasch - Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam on the construction cooperation between Vietnam and Germany.
At the meeting, Minister Trinh Dinh Dung expressed his appreciation of German technical supports in management of wastewater and solid waste projects in the provinces and the technical support drainage and flood control projects in medium-sized urban areas of the coastal region, capacity building projects as well as the design and construction of a number of works of Viet Nam's new Parliament house project.
Minister Trinh Dinh Dung suggested the Ambassador in mobilizing Germany contractors to transport equipment, accelerate the construction schedule for its construction so that the project can be soon operated to serve the National Assembly session in October 2014.
The Ambassador confirmed that cooperation relationship between the two countries is increased including the construction sector. In the coming time, Germany will hold a workshop in the city with participation of worldwide economic Ministers to increase the growth of cooperation between Vietnam and Germany.
About Germany House Project in Vietnam (built in HCM City), Minister Trinh Dinh Dung assigned to departments, institutes under the Ministry of Construction in collaboration with Hochiminh city in the review, rapid deployment procedures, building permits. Ministers desired cooperation between Vietnam and Germany, especially the construction sector is increasingly strengthened and more effective.
