On the morning of June 26, the Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung visited some projects, key projects of Vung Ang Economic Zone, including Project Steel Complex and Son Duong deepwater port Fomossa.
Project Steel Complex and Son Duong deepwater port by a company Fomossa Ha Tinh Ltd. investors with total investment of the first phase of about $ 11 billion, this is the biggest FDI project in Vietnam at the present time.
On the project site Fomossa always on 20.000 construction workers participated. Once completed, this will be a steel center, the largest energy hub in Southeast Asia and the deep-water port handling capacity of 84 million tons /year.
Through inspection, the Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung appreciated the efforts of the Group Fomossa, Minister Trinh Dinh Dung affirmed that the recent difficulties are only temporary upsurge, the Government and the Ministry of Construction will partner to support timely for implementation of projects to ensure progress.
