Vietnam Airlines Corporation and the People's Committee of Hung Yen province have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation for the period 2026 - 2030, opening up opportunities for tourism and aviation development and investment and trade promotion between the two sides.

Vietnam Airlines and Hung Yen Province cooperate comprehensively to develop tourism, investment and trade.
According to the agreement, Vietnam Airlines and Hung Yen Province will closely coordinate in promoting and stimulating tourism, promoting investment, trade and products and services of both sides from 2026 and the following years on media and at festivals, diplomatic events, promoting investment, trade, culture, sports and tourism at home and abroad.
Vietnam Airlines will support promotion, stimulate consumption, consider the possibility of using typical products of industry, handicrafts, craft villages, agricultural products, and special cuisine of Hung Yen on flights and in lotus lounges at the airport.
In the aviation sector, Vietnam Airlines commits to preferential fares, baggage, and cargo transportation for delegations of Hung Yen province when participating in promotion programs, cooperation in investment, trade, tourism, diplomacy, culture, sports, education, and health.
In addition, Hung Yen province will introduce Vietnam Airlines' products and services through local media and to businesses and traders in the province; encourage the use of services provided by Vietnam Airlines and its member companies in domestic and international promotional activities; and prioritize Vietnam Airlines as the official carrier in national and international events.
The two sides will also cooperate in organizing large-scale cultural, sports, tourism, educational, and investment and trade promotion events combined with aviation, contributing to promoting the image and brand of Vietnam Airlines and increasing the presence and attractiveness of Hung Yen on the Vietnamese tourism map.
Specifically, from 2018 to now, Vietnam Airlines has cooperated with Hung Yen province in coordinating the supply and consumption of longan on flights. Hung Yen longan specialty has become a dessert in Business Class, served on more than 70 Vietnam Airlines routes from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to domestic Vietnam, Asia, Australia and Europe during each main season. In addition, Hung Yen longan is also served at the Lotus Lounge at Noi Bai airport, giving passengers the opportunity to enjoy this delicious product.
In addition, Vietnam Airlines will continue to coordinate with local tourism businesses to develop tourism stimulus packages, while implementing digital transformation and digitalization solutions to promote trade and develop tourism.
