Mr. Kim Yangjin, Chairman of LBN ENC, especially emphasized cooperation in the field of applied scientific research, exchange and training of experts, joint venture planning consultancy and building design. He also proposed to promote a comprehensive cooperation agreement (MOU) between the two sides, serving as a basis for implementing projects and programs sponsored by the Korean Government, sharing experiences in research and making documents and policies related to the construction industry. LBN ENC cooperates with the National Institute of Architecture to promote Korean architectural products and high-quality building materials to Vietnam.

Mr. Lee Seunggyu - Director of LBN Plant introduced about the application of glass fiber reinforced plastic rod technology, also known as GFRP with the characteristics of non-corrosion, salt resistance, and good resistance to earthquake, should be widely used in civil construction fields. Currently, Korea is studying to establish a national standard on related legislation and will soon officially put this fiberglass reinforced plastic rod into construction works.

In the field of design and planning, Hanyang University Professor Jun In-ho - Vice President of LBN ENC shared his experience in construction design and planning in urban areas. The issue of preserving heritage values in the design planning is noted in the projects.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Thi Lien Huong - Director, expressed her interest in the exchange issues of Korean experts. The Vietnam Institute of Architecture has performed many state management consultancy, architectural design consultancy, urban planning and design, and landscape design throughout the country. The Institute have paid attention to research and apply science and technology in architecture to supplement of building  standards and regulations in Vietnam and finishing materials for architectural works to cope with climate change.

The Government of Vietnam is promoting Green transformation of the construction industry through building design following the trend of using green, energy-saving and environmentally friendly materials. The cooperation between the Vietnam Institute of Architecture and LBN Holdings also proves the cooperation relationship in the field of Architecture - Planning that has been mentioned by many high-level meetings of the Governments of Vietnam and Korea in recent years.
