The Ministry of Construction works with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

The Ministry of Construction had a meeting with the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on strengthening the cooperation relationship between the two sides on June 28^th.

Deputy Minister Bui Hong Minh spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Vepa Hajiyev expressed his pleasure to visit and work with the Ministry of Construction and said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as agencies under the Government of Turkmenistan are very interested and look forward to expanding the cooperation relatioship with the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam in the near future.

Turkmenistan is planning to build a new Administrative Center with a scale of more than 300 buildings. The center is expected to require a large amount of imported marble. Turkmenistan wishes to establish a cooperative relationship with the Ministry of Construction in the field of import and export of construction materials and wants to visit a number of construction investment projects to learn about the process of implementing a construction investment project in Vietnam.

Deputy Minister Bui Hong Minh warmly welcomed Deputy Minister Vepa Hajiyev, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’s delegation and agencies under the Government of Turkmenistan to visit and work with the Ministry of Construction, and said that the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction and agencies under the Government of Turkmenistan have great potential for cooperation. In addition to cooperation on import and export of building materials (marble), the two sides can also promote cooperation in the fields of architecture, infrastructure, urban development, urban transport...

The whole working session

According to Deputy Minister Bui Hong Minh, marble in Vietnam has good quality and beautiful patterns. In addition, Vietnam's transportation system has many advantages, so it can meet the export demand to Turkmenistan. After receiving the official note from the Ministry of Construction of Turkmenistan, the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction will set up a working group to discuss specific contents of cooperation between the two sides, including cooperation in the field of export and import marble.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Hong Minh wish that Deputy Minister Vepa Hajiyev and members of the delegation of the Turkmenistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs had had a successful business trip to Vietnam.
