This Training Package is based on the experiences gained by the consultants contacted by the Global Green Growth Institute to undertake the “Vietnam Urban Green Growth Action – Phase I” project from August to December 2015. The project had three principal components:
1. Developing a green growth city index/indicators
2. Conducting a comprehensive national and sub-national level assessment of urban green growth activities
3. Enhancing capacity of government officials within the Ministry of Construction and other line ministries
Primarily, the seven individual Modules within the Training Package reflect the “lessons learned” by the consultants in carrying out the contract, and are presented here to elaborate the concepts and mechanisms that were devised to underpin the project “Deliverables” and to provide assistance to stakeholders in Urban Green Growth in achieving a better understanding of the processes involved
