Ministry of Construction held the Awarding Ceremony medal for the “Cause of the Construction Industry” to Mrs. Yamel Ruiz Barranco – Economic and trade counselor, Embassy of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam. There were Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung, Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Lianys Torres Rivera, representatives of the International Cooperation Department, Information Center and a number of units under the MoC at the Ceremony on June 5th.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung recognized and highly appreciated the role of Ms.Yamel Ruiz Barranco in promoting economic - trade cooperative relation between two countries as well as operation of the Inter-governmental Committee of Vietnam – Cuba during her working time in Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung wants Mrs Yamel Ruiz Barranco to make contributions in further developing traditional and friendly relation between Vietnam and Cuba in the coming time.

Gladding to receive the Medal, Ms. Yamel Ruiz Barranco thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Construction for interest and close coordination with the Cuban Embassy to Vietnam in cooperation and facilitating activities which help her to fulfill her tasks. She also affirmed: “No matter what she works, she will try her best to promote the traditional relation between two countries”.
