Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh had a working session with the delegation of the Korean Institute of Construction Technology (KICT) led by Vice President Lee Kyo Sun on October 8th at the MoC headquarter.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh and Vice President Lee Kyo Sun had exchanged many contents related to the method of determining norms, unit prices for contruction works in Vietnam, experience of Korean in the process of making a list of criteria for calculating the price of construction works. Two sides agreed to set up a working group of experts from both sides to discuss and agree on specific contents mentioned by two leaders at the meeting.

Also at the meeting, Deputy Minister Khanh and Vice President Lee Kyo Sun discussed the project to set up the Vietnam – Korea Cooperation Center on Smart Cities aiming to develop urban system and urban technical infrastructure management capability for cities of  Vietnam and Korea, including city management technology and urban institutions.

Deputy Minister Khanh believed that with the close cooperation between leaders and experts of  the KICT and the MoC, cooperation programs and projects will be deployed quickly and efficiently to strengthening cooperation between the MoC and the KICT and other agencies under the Government of the Republic of Korea in particular, between Vietnam and Korea in general.
