Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung receives Cuban Deputy Minister of Construction – Pedro Armando Milian Marante

Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung had a working session with the delegation of the Cuba Ministry of Construction led by Deputy Minister Pedro Armando Milian Marante. There are Cuban Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Vietnam Lianys Torres Rivera, leaders of Departments and Agencies under MoC and the Cuban Ministry of Construction’s staffs at the working session.

On behalf of Ministry of Construction’s leaders, Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung warmly welcomed Deputy Minister Pedro Armando Milian Marante, Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Lianys Torres Rivera visiting and working in Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Hung said, the cooperation between Vietnam Ministry of Construction and Cuba Ministry of Construction in particular and traditional cooperation of two countries in general is growing and raising to a new height after the visit and working in Cuba took by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in March 2018.
Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung desired that Cuba Ministry of Construction to pay attention to and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese Construction enterprises operating in Cuba, including joint ventures in producing ceramic tiles and sanitary ware between VIGLACERA Corporation (under Vietnam MoC) and Geicons Group (under Cuba MoC).
Deputy Minister Pedro Armando Milian Marante thanked Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung for taking the time to welcome and work with the delegation of the Cuba Ministry of Construction and also thanked the Vietnam MoC to create favorable conditions for Cuban enterprises operating in the field of construction in Vietnam.
In order to further improve the performance of Cuban Dinvai company and businesses operating in Vietnam, Deputy Minister Marante proposed the Vietnam MoC to facilitate for Cuban experts in learning more about construction investment in Vietnam.
In response with Deputy Minister Marante’s proposal, Deputy Minister Hung said that, “The Vietnam MoC is ready to facilitate opening the short-term training course for Cuban experts who wish to work in Vietnam, and create favorable conditions for Dinvai company to expand its activities in the field of construction”.
According to Deputy Minister Hung, in the coming time, Vietnam and Cuba need to strengthen the cooperation in the field of planning, urban development which are the strengths of Cuba.
