Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung works with leader of the SCG Thailand

Being one of the largest industrial companies in Thailand, founded in 1913, SCG has 3 core business units: cement - building materials, paper, chemicals, with the total turnover of $13 billion per year. SCG has more than 50,000 employees all over the world. With over 20 year-experience in Vietnam and with the support of the MOC, SCG has 20 small companies in Vietnam.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung paid much attention to the cement market in Thailand in general and to the SCG’s cement production, trading and export in particular. According to Deputy Minister Hung, Vietnam enterprises wanted to be shared experience in cement with Thailand partners.

Mr. Cherdsek Niyomsilpa stated that the cement market in Vietnam got attraction from many foreign cement companies, including the SCG Thailand, and hoped to further develop cooperation relation with Vietnamese cement companies.
