Completed many important tasks
In the first 6 months of 2015, the MOC completed many importants tasks, such as: Carrying the Party, National Assembly’s resolutions; issuing Action programmes focusing on administration renovation, improving planning quality, urban development management, especially perfecting legal mechanism suitable to the country’s socialist market-oriented mechanism. The MOC submited to the Government 5 decrees guiding implementing the Law of Construction (revised) 2014, to the Prime Minister 2 decisions and to the Government 5 draft decrees guiding implementing the Law of Real Estate Business (revised) 2014. In the first 6 months, the whole value of the Construction Industry is estimated at 393.8 trillion VND, up 8.1% over the same period in 2014. By the end of June, urbanization rate in the whole country is about 35.3%, up 1.4% over the same period in 2014; and total housing area estimated is 52 million m2, approximately 0.6 million m2 of which is social housing.
Minister Trinh Dinh Dung confirmed these achievements as results from the Government’s concern and relevant ministries’ comments.

Minister Trinh Dinh Dung suggested to the units under the MOC’s management that they should complete many significant tasks in the last 6 months of 2015 such as: Improving the quality of document related to the Construction Industry, urban development management, urban upgarding… Minister Dung indicated those enterprised under the MOC’s direct management as the pioneer in providing social housing.
According to Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, in the next 6 months, the MOC should pay much attention to implement the Law of Housing (revised) 2014, Law of Real Estate Business (revised) 2014, and documents guiding their implementation; remove obstacles for the Real Estate market; follow the National Housing Strategy; implement the Construction Industry’s restructing scheme associated with the transformation of the growth model in the period of 2014 – 2020…
