Minister Trinh Dinh Dung worked with the Association of Cities of Vietnam

On behalf of the Association of Cities of Vietnam, Dr. Nguyen Van Khoi - Chairman of Association reported on the operation of the Association in 2014 and the plan of operation in 2015. In that, with their functions and duties, in 2014 the Association has promoted peer counseling policies, organized conferences and seminars to consult members of the municipality to contribute to the law as Construction Law (Amendment), the Law on Housing (Amendment) ...

Besides, the Association collaborates with three major international organizations: as United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UNHABITAT), Cities Alliance (CA), and the the Asian Coalition for Housing Rights (ACHR ) .....

In 2015, the Association continues to coordinate with other agencies of the Ministry of Construction, professional associations, international organizations to implement the goals and 12 missions of the 2015; and further promote active critical policy and law. Emulation movement Urban Green - Clean - Beautiful combined with urban green growth continues to expand; complete the project of international cooperation and domestic support for the best urban members of management and urban development.

Mr. Khoi also said, in November 2015, the Association will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment and in conjunction with the Annual Meeting.

After hearing the report of the Association of Cities of Vietnam, Minister Trinh Dinh Dung appreciated efforts and contributions to society Association. The Minister said that the Association is the gathering place, a forum for the sharing of urban Vietnam experience to contribute to the development of urban areas in general and in particular the Ministry of Construction.
