The afternoon of November 17, 2014, at the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tran Nam had a meeting with Mr. Sigifredo Carballosa Jose Parra - Deputy Minister for Economic Cuban Ministry of Construction.
Attending the meeting were representatives from the Department of International Cooperation, Department of construction materials, Construction Activities Management Agency, representatives of Viglacera Corporation, Hanel Electronic Company and the members of the delegation of the Cuban Ministry of Construction.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Sigifredo Carballosa Jose Parra would like to thank Deputy Minister Nguyen Tran Nam for taking the time to welcome. He said Cuba is conducting an organizational arrangement of businesses operating in foreign countries. There are about 160 -180 state enterprises operating in the construction sector and will be distributed mainly in two areas of the construction industry and building materials. The purpose of this arrangement is to help businesses be more independent, not dependent on the state. Currently, Cuba is in the process of opening up so needed cooperation and learning experiences of Vietnam. Deputy Minister Jose Parra hope Sigifredo Carballosa hope the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam will support Cuba enterprises in Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Tran Nam said: Romance and relationships between the Party, State and people of Vietnam - Cuba has always been a strong consolidation over time. Vietnam People will never forget the support of the Government and people of Cuba during the war against America and for the time being. On basis of political relations between the two traditional party the two countries, Vietnam is always willing to support and help the people of Cuba in forms possible. Ministry of Construction as a permanent body in the Intergovernmental Committee is always active, and propose to the Government the problems related to the issue of strengthening economic relations between the two countries, addressing food supply issues as well as barter trade. On the operation of Cuba enterprises in Vietnam, a number of works by Cuban aid to Vietnam as Thang Loi Hotel, roads Vietnam - Cuba ... has confirmed the capacity as well as very good quality of Cuban businesses. Currently, Vietnam is developing market economies of the market mechanism, whereby the state-owned enterprises, enterprises with foreign investment or private business activities are fair and comply with the Law on Enterprises, special Law on Investment and the Law on Tendering. Personally Deputy Minister Nguyen Tran Nam and the Ministry of Construction will always favor the maximum for projects with Cuba participating businesses.
