Minister Trinh Dinh Dung receives the General Director Lotte Group in Vietnam

On behalf of the Lotte Group, Mr. Lee Jong Kook - CEO reported to the Minister on the history and its implementation of Lotte Center Hanoi project. Joining to the Vietnamese market in 1996 and established Lotte Vietnam on Feb., 1996, up to now, Lotte constantly promotes to invest in many sectors with a total authorized capital of the Lotte in Vietnam of approximately USD 525.8 million. In particular, Lotter Center Hanoi project is considered to be a luxury combination with a total investment up to USD 400 million.

The project is carried out on an area of 14,094 m2, of which construction area of 8.822,85 m2. To date, the project is completed on the schedule with safety and good quality. The Group will inaugurate the building on the occasion of Vietnamese National Day 2014.

At the meeting, Minister Trinh Dinh Dung appreciated the good relationship between Vietnam - South Korea which facilitating to invest by Korean companies in Vietnam. The Minister assessed that Lotte Center Hanoi project as the big project contributing to beautify landscapes and urban architecture of Hanoi. When completed, the project will bring many opportunities for investors to continue to develop business in Vietnam. The Ministry of Construction with its functions and abilities of state management in construction will always create favorable conditions for the Group to continue to expand investment in Vietnam, especially in Hanoi.
