On July 23, at the Ministry of Construction (MOC), a ceremony of MOU signed between MOC and the Agency for International Technical Cooperation of Economic and Financial (ADETEF) of France. Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh and Ms. Agnes Arcier - Chairman, CEO of ADETEF chaired the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh expressed her thanks and pleasure to the good relationship between ADETEF and MOC. The Deputy Minister confirmed that the French government is 2nd European countries with large aid ODA for Vietnam. In recent years, after the joint statement of the two countries, Vietnam Prime Minister assigned MOC has worked with the Ministry of Sustainable Development of France which ADETEF is representative in urban development. The Deputy Minister also expected the two sides to develop good relationship to create greater efficiency in sustainable cooperation.
Ms. Agnes Arcier - Chairman, CEO ADETEF affirmed the relationship between Vietnam and France in general and ADETEF in particularly is the friendship. She also confirm that ADETEF will provide the best information and technical assistance to meet the requirements of Vietnam. At the same time, she also expressed her thanks to the related units and departments to facilitate ADETEF in exchanging urban development policies. Besides, she said that the necessary to have support of international donors to implement successfully this MOU. She believed the two sides will cooperate effectively.
