On July 15, Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh received Mr. Tatsuhiko Takesada - Director of Asia - Pacific region of Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).
At the meeting, Mr. Tatsuhiko Takesada said that JBIC specialized in supporting the projects of Japanese enterprises to invest abroad, especially in strengthening the cooperation with ASEAN countries in the field of infrastructure construction. Vietnam has developed steadily in recent years, therefore, JBIC always considers Vietnam as the potential partner.
Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh expressed her specialthanks to JBIC has prioritized to support Viet Nam in developing clean energy, water efficiency use and urban transport. She also appreciated the support of JBIC in the field of infrastructure construction, urban development, implementation of green growth strategy. She expressed the hope that JBIC continues support Viet Nam as an active partner in the field of urban development, social housing, urban environment. The collaboration between JBIC and the Ministry of Construction will be specified in the program which to be mutually discussed in the near future.
