Historic floods that have caused serious impacts in the Central provinces, Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO) has quickly implemented a program to transport free support goods to the affected localities. Recently, the first shipments landed at Phu Bai Airport (Hue) on the night of November 1st.

The first support shipment was transported on flights VN1376 on October 31 and VN1366 on November 1st from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue to be transferred to the flood-affected areas.
Immediately after the announcement on October 30th, the first shipments of nearly 500 kilograms of necessities, medicine, clothes, and food donated by Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper were quickly transported by Vietnam Airlines to Hue on flight VN1376 on the night of October 31st. The second shipment of 400 warm coats from Saigon Liberation Newspaper to support people in flood-hit areas would be received by Vietnam Airlines on flight VN1374 on the afternoon of November 1st.
The flights carrying support goods not only carry food, medicine and essential supplies, but also carry the hearts, feelings and spirit of solidarity from all over the country towards the Central region.
Vietnam Airlines prioritizes loading and unloading support goods for the Central flood-hit areas to transport them as quickly as possible, promptly reaching the people in the flood-affected areas.

Vietnam Airlines Group's free cargo transportation to support provinces and cities in the Central region affected by floods and storms took place from October 30th, applying to organizations such as the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, People's Committees of localities, the Vietnam Red Cross Society, socio-political organizations, State agencies, licensed social organizations and charitable funds, and businesses whose purpose of support is confirmed or introduced by competent authorities.
