On the morning of November 27th, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Construction, Minister Tran Hong Minh launched a campaign to support the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions who suffered damage caused by floods to all cadres, civil servants, employees, and workers at agencies and units under the Ministry of Construction.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Minister Tran Hong Minh said that, implementing Official Dispatch No. 132-CV/DU, dated November 25th, 2022 of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee on supporting the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions who suffered damage caused by floods; in recent days, the people of the Central and Central Highlands provinces have been struggling to cope with the exceptionally heavy floods, causing heavy damage to people and property.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and in the spirit of “mutual support,” “the healthy protect the weak,” and “loving others as oneself,” on behalf of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction, Minister Trần Hồng Minh requested Party committees and subordinate Party organizations to lead and direct agencies, units, and enterprises to share and provide both moral and material support, contributing together with the Party and the State to helping the people of Central and Central Highlands regions overcome the damage caused by the recent floods.

At the same time, the Minister directed agencies and units to strengthen communication and encourage officials, Party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers to uphold the tradition of compassion, share with and support people in flood-hit areas in overcoming this difficult period; helping them gain additional resources to recover from the consequences, quickly stabilize their lives, restore production, and return to normal life.
The Ministry of Construction will deliver the donated funds to the Central Relief Committee in order to promptly support people affected by the floods.

On October 21st, Minister Tran Hong Minh presented 5 billion VND in support of people affected by storms and floods to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Previously, on October 21st, through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh also presented 5 billion VND as a gesture of solidarity and compassion from employees in the construction sector to help people overcome the damage and soon stabilize their lives after the flood.
