At the closing ceremony of the 2025 Autumn Fair, Vietnam Airlines announced a donation of VND5.5 billion to support people in provinces and cities that have been heavily affected by storms and floods in recent times. This support is the heart of the collective of employees of Vietnam Airlines and its member units, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and social responsibility of the national flag carrier in the face of the difficulties of people in storm and flood areas.

The first batch of relief goods was transported on a Vietnam Airlines flight to be delivered to flood-affected areas.
Mr. Đào Mạnh Kiên, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Airlines Trade Union, represented the Corporation’s leadership to present the support symbol to the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, conveying the sentiments and solidarity of Vietnam Airlines.
Kiên shared, “As the national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines is acutely aware of its responsibility to the community. We hope to spread the spirit of compassion, sharing, and companionship to help people in storm-affected areas overcome difficulties. This is also an integral part of the Airline’s mission on its journey toward sustainable development.”
In addition to financial support, Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO) has deployed free transportation of relief goods to the Central localities heavily affected by floods. Just a few days after the announcement, more than 4 tons of goods including necessities, medicine, clothes,... were quickly transported by Vietnam Airlines flights to Phu Bai Airport (Hue) and Da Nang Airport to promptly deliver to people in flooded areas.
