Implementing the Decision No. 387/QD-BXD dated April 8, 2015 of the Minister of Construction (MOC), on May 3, 2015, the officials delegation of MOC lead by Pham Van Khanh, Head of Department of Construction Economics to visit Melbourne, Australia for the mission of research and development of human resource in urban and space management of Australia.
During 14 days, 20 members of the delegation attend the following sections: meeting the Planning Department on the regulatory framework in water planning, urban development in Victoria and meet some governmental members related to the establishment of new infrastructure network in Victoria; presentation of Peter Seamer - heard of Metropolitan Planning Department on strategic planning objectives of Melbourne metropolitan area and urban management mechanisms; presentation of Kevin Van Boxtel on lessons of new Dandenong urban areas; visiting some new urban areas in Lawrie Wilson and Whittlesea.
According to the presentative of Steering Committee of Project 165, MOC was very serious in organizing to implement the mission. All members were appointed to research and study in Australia with right objects, meeting the human resource development strategy of the construction industry.
