On January 7, at the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh had a meeting with Mr. Kenichi Yamamoto - Deputy Chief Representative of JICA in Vietnam on Step project.

At the meeting, Mr. Kenichi Yamamoto introduced to Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh about Step project which is the loans of the Japanese Government for the Vietnamese Government to the conditions of Japanese companies will be the main contractor and the goods originating from Japan of over 30%.
Deputy Minister Bui Pham Khanh expressed his thanks to Mr. Kenichi Yamamoto for sharing Step project and also analyzing and sharing the pressures, problems and issues when applied Step loan project such as cost estimate, cost management. The Deputy Minister said that in the future, the Ministry of Construction will study and consider this kind of Step loan and will continue to discuss with JICA.
