The Ministry of Construction of Vietnam and the Korea International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam (KOIKA) jointly held the kick-off ceremony of the technical assistance project "Strengthening capacity for urban development management to respond to climate change" through building a management information system for urban planning and development in Vietnam” (UPIS) on April 21^st with the presence of Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Hong Minh - Head of the Project Steering Committee; Mr. Cho Han Deog - Country Director of KOICA Office in Vietnam; representatives of the Korean Embassy, local leaders participating in the project.

Ministry of Construction in collaboration with VTC Digital Television Station (under the Voice of Vietnam) held the online talk show “Remove the difficulties in the development of social housing, housing for workers” on April 19^th. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh; leaders of Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vietnam Real Estate Association; leaders of some localities and representatives of businesses attended the online talk show.  

The signing ceremony of communication cooperation between the Ministry of Construction and Vietnam Television in the period of 2022 – 2026 was held in Hanoi on April 14^th.

Minister of Vietnamese Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a working session with Cuban Minister of Construction on March 28^th with the presence of Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Orlando Nicolas Hernandez Guillen; Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Hong Minh; leaders of functional departments and agencies under the MoC, and a number of Cuban and Vietnamese enterprises.

The first international exhibition VIETBUILD Hanoi 2022 took place with the theme of Construction - Building Materials - Real Estate and Exterior and Interior Decoration on March 23^rd. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh - Head of the Steering Committee of VIETBUILD Exhibition, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan, leaders of central ministries and specialized associations attended the ceremony.

VIGLACERA Corporation - a joint stock company solemnly held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Thuan Thanh I Industrial Park Project and the Yen Phong Industrial Park Worker Housing Project, and at the same time launched the Spring Tree Planting Festival year 2022 on February 8^th in presence of Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung, representatives of central ministries and branches; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Bac Ninh province and leaders of VIGLACERA Corporation – a joint stock company.

On January 24, 2022, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam - Algeria Friendship Association had a meeting with Algerian Ambassador to Vietnam Abdelhamid Boubazine.

On January 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung chaired the press conference to review tasks in 2021 and guide directions of 2022 plan within the construction industry.

Association of Architects, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism jointly organized the National architecture awards 2020 – 2021 on December 29^th.

The 39th session of the Vietnam - Cuba Intergovernmental Committee (UBLCP) was held in the online form on December 28th 2021 with the co-chair of the Vietnamese Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi and Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz, Co-Chairman of Cuba – Vietnam Intergovernmental Committee.

On December 21, 2021, in Hanoi, the Department of Technical Infrastructure (Ministry of Construction of Vietnam) coordinated with the Department of Sewerage and Sewerage Management (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to organize a Vietnam - Japan webinar on climate change response in the field of drainage. Director General Mai Thi Lien Huong and Director General Ryuji UEMATSU co-chaired the webinar.
