Reporting at the inspection, Mr. To Tu Ha, Director of Noi Bai International Airport, pledged to closely coordinate with state management agencies and contractors to ensure progress, quality, and minimize impacts on existing operations and passenger experience.
Noi Bai International Airport will proactively organize inspections of training and education of systems, and submit to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam for approval to put the project into operation, expected on December 19th, 2025.
Mr. To Tu Ha emphasized, as the northern aviation gateway, Noi Bai International Airport always closely coordinates with the Ministry of Construction, functional agencies and construction units, readying resources to complete the expansion items of Terminal T2 safely, on schedule, meeting quality and aesthetics."

Speaking at the inspection, Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan directed agencies and units to focus resources, adhere to commitments, ensure safety - quality - aesthetics and stable operation. He also emphasized the goal of handing over the project on time, with consistent quality, aiming for a 5-star airport according to Skytrax standards.
It is known that the T2 Passenger Terminal Expansion Project - Noi Bai International Airport was started on May 19, 2024 to ensure operational capacity, quality of passenger services and as planned. The project is being researched and built within an area of approximately 412,000m2 (including the existing area and the expansion area) to increase the operational capacity from 10 million passengers/year to 15 million passengers/year.
