The Project Management Unit of Maritime and Waterway (PMU-MW), under the Ministry of Construction (MOC), with support from the World Bank, is implementing the Southern Waterway Corridors and Logistics Development Project (SWCLD) in Vietnam. As part of procurement preparation, PMU-MW will organize an Early Market Engagement (EME) Workshop for the following two civil works packages, which are expected to be procured through Open International Competition with Rated Criteria:
Package A1: Improvement of Cho Lach canal (dredging, embankment, drainage sewers and local roads), Rach Ky Hon canal, Rach La canal.
Package A2: Improvement of Mang Thit river, Tra On river.
PMU-MW cordially invites your organization to participate in the EME Workshop. The purpose is to present the proposed packages and obtain market feedback on technical, commercial, contractual, ESHS and implementation matters, with a view to strengthening procurement readiness and promoting effective competition. The workshop will cover the package scope, procurement approach, indicative schedule, technical requirements, contract strategy, Rated Criteria and key implementation considerations.
Format: Hybrid meeting, with in-person participation at PMU-MW office and online participation through a meeting link to be shared after registration.
