On August 28^th, 2024, in Hanoi, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a working session with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam Orlando Nicolas Hernandez Guillen on further promoting Vietnam - Cuba cooperation.

The Ministry of Construction held a ceremony to award the Medal for the Cause of Construction to the Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam, Irmina Perojo Bellido de Luna, on August 22^nd. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van; Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Vietnam, Joy Puentes Saldies; representatives of functional units under the Ministry of Construction, and construction enterprises of Vietnam and Cuba attended the ceremony.

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting and working session with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Vietnam Kohdayar Marri on August 20, 2024, in presence of leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction, officials and experts from the Pakistani Embassy in Vietnam.

The Ministry of Construction of Vietnam in coordination with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korea held the inauguration ceremony of the Vietnam - Korea Cooperation Center for smart city and construction technology (VKC project).

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting and working session with Algeria’s Minister of War Veterans and Rights Holders Laid Rebigua on April, 26^th.

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi received Cuban Chairman of the National Assembly of the People's Power, Chairman of the State Council of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernandez who is in Việt Nam to attend the state funeral of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam Central Committee Nguyễn Phú Trọng on April 25^th.

On July 23^rd, 2024, in Hanoi, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi held talks with Cuban Minister of Construction Rene Mesa Villafana on strengthening cooperation between the two sides in the coming time, in presence of leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction, representatives of the Cuban Embassy in Vietnam, and leaders of a number of Vietnamese and Cuban businesses.

Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting and working session with Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam Ito Naoki on further strengthening the cooperative relationship between the Ministry of Construction with the Japanese Embassy and partners on July 19^th. Leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction, officials and experts from the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam attended the meeting.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on urban and housing development was inked between the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction and South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) in Ha Noi on July 16^th.

On July 16^th, 2024, in Hanoi, the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport coordinated with the Korean Embassy to Vietnam to organize the Korean – Vietnam Urban Development Innovation Forum with the participation of a large number of business leaders in the construction industry of the two countries. Minister of Construction of Vietnam Nguyen Thanh Nghi attended and delivered a speech at the Forum.
