With the consent of the leaders of the Ministry of Construction, on November 11, 2025, in Hanoi, the Construction Infrastructure Department and HealthBridge Canada in Vietnam held a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in developing green, safe and sustainable urban infrastructure. Leaders of the International Cooperation Department (Ministry of Construction); representatives of the Canadian Embassy in Vietnam attended the ceremony.

The opening ceremony of the International Exhibition and Conference on Modern Railway Technology and Infrastructure Construction Supply Chain in Vietnam (VRT&CONS 2025) took place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center on November 12th. Deputy Minister Nguyen Danh Huy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Vietnam Helga Margarete Barth, Director of the Vietnam Railway Authority Tran Thien Canh, representatives of state management agencies, project management boards, production - construction enterprises, EPC contractors, financial institutions, universities, research institutes and international partners in the field of railways and modern infrastructure construction attended the ceremony.

On November 11th, 2025, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Danh Huy had a meeting and worked with Mr. Guerrier Julien - Ambassador of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Vietnam and EU experts to discuss and promote cooperation in the fields of green infrastructure, sustainable transport and clean energy transition.

On November 10th, 2025, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Xuan Sang had a meeting and worked with the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands Aukje de Vries. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Vietnam Kees van Baar; leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction and leaders of Dutch enterprises attended the meeting.

On November 5th, 2025, in Hanoi, the Department of Urban Development (Ministry of Construction) in collaboration with the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), GIZ and AFD organized a workshop on "Safe and climate-resilient urban areas towards green and sustainable growth". This is one of the important events within the framework of the Vietnam Urban Sustainable Development Forum 2025 (organized by the Ministry of Construction in coordination with the Central Strategy and Policy Committee), attracting the participation of many managers, experts, scientists and business representatives.

At the regular Government meeting in October 2025, on November 8th, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh reported many solutions to rectify negative practices in buying, selling, and renting social housing, while speeding up the implementation of the goal of developing 1 million social housing units in the coming time.

In order to strengthen the work of ensuring cyber security, information security and data safety for information systems, on November 6th, the Ministry of Construction and the Government Cipher Committee held a signing ceremony of the Coordination Regulations in ensuring cyber security, information security and data safety.

On November 6th, 2025, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van had a meeting and worked with Ms. Neeta Pokhrel - Director in charge of the Pacific and Southeast Asia Group, Water and Urban Development Office at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The meeting aimed to exchange and discuss ADB's support policies for Vietnam in the fields of urban development and technical infrastructure, environmental protection as well as cooperation orientations in the coming time.

On the afternoon of November 5th, 2025, at the University of Transport Technology (Hanoi), the Ministry of Construction held a conference on training work of universities to evaluate the results of the 2024-2025 academic year and deploy tasks for the 2025-2026 academic year. Deputy Minister Pham Minh Ha chaired the Conference.
