Conference on training work of universities under the Ministry of Construction(07/11/2025)

On the afternoon of November 5th, 2025, at the University of Transport Technology (Hanoi), the Ministry of Construction held a conference on training work of universities to evaluate the results of the 2024-2025 academic year and deploy tasks for the 2025-2026 academic year. Deputy Minister Pham Minh Ha chaired the Conference.

  • On November 5th, 2025, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction coordinated with the Central Strategy and Policy Committee to organize the Vietnam Urban Sustainable Development Forum 2025: Towards smart, sustainable and inclusive cities. The event was held on the occasion of Vietnam Urban Day on November 8th and in response to Vietnam Law Day on November 9th, attracting the participation of leaders of ministries, branches, localities, international organizations and experts in the field of urban planning, construction and development.

  • On November 3rd, 2025, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van had a meeting and worked with Deputy Minister of Energy, Business and Industry of Sweden Sara Modig on strengthening bilateral cooperation. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Vietnam, leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, the Ministry of Energy, Business and Industry of Sweden, and representatives of many leading Swedish enterprises in the fields of transport infrastructure, energy and green industry attended the meeting.

  • On November 2nd, Minister Tran Hong Minh accompanied with Deputy Minister Pham Minh Ha led a working delegation from the Ministry of Construction to inspect the construction progress of the Long Thanh International Airport project.

  • According to the Prime Minister's Decision and the direction of the Ministry of Construction, the goal of the Long Thanh International Airport project phase 1 is "basically completed, ensuring standards and conditions for inauguration according to regulations in December 19th, 2025". To meet that schedule, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has urgently coordinated with Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM), Air Traffic Management Engineering Company Limited (ATTECH) and Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) to carry out flight inspection, calibration and assessment of flight methods at Long Thanh airport.

  • Within the framework of the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025, the Department of Science, Technology, Environment and Construction Materials in collaboration with the Institute of Construction Materials organized a workshop on "Optimizing the use of energy and construction materials to minimize emissions in green buildings".

  • On October 29th, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, within the framework of the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025, the Department of Transport and Traffic Safety coordinated with relevant units to organize a workshop on "Green Transport: National strategic vision for sustainable development goals".

  • On October 29th, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, a workshop on “Green Energy Transition in Transport” was held, with the participation of many domestic and international experts, managers, scientists, and representatives of businesses operating in the fields of energy, transport and environment. This event is within the framework of the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025, organized by the Ministry of Construction.

  • The Department of Construction Infrastructure (Ministry of Construction), in coordination with the Prime Minister’s Policy Advisory Council, organized a seminar titled “Urban Flooding: Current Situation, Causes, and Solutions”, with the participation of numerous representatives from management agencies, experts, and scientists on October 29th.

  • As part of the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025 organized by the Ministry of Construction, on October 28th, 2025, a delegation from the Ministry, along with representatives from various agencies, organizations, and enterprises, conducted a field visit to the IAQ and ECM factories of Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City.

  • Within the framework of the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025, the National Institute of Architecture (under the Ministry of Construction) organized a seminar: "Green Building: The transformation from traditional models to sustainable innovation", with the participation of many experts, managers, architects and businesses to discuss solutions to promote green transformation, international integration and climate change response, on October 29th, in Ho Chi Minh city.
