From March 2023 to September 2025, Nghia Binh Railway Exploitation Branch (under Vietnam Railway Corporation) effectively implemented the "rail track - flower street" movement by planting 3,200 trees and flowers, with a total area of 7,439m2.
Mr. Le Van Chien, Director of Nghia Binh Railway Exploitation Branch, said that the unit had a 3-year summary report (2023-2025) of the "rail track - flower street" movement.
The Director of Nghia Binh Railway Exploitation Branch informed that "rail tracks - flower streets" is a practical and meaningful model, contributing to creating a friendly and beautiful environment for the area where the railway passes through in each locality, and is supported and responded to by local people living along both sides of the railway.
This is also a propaganda activity for people to strictly comply with the law on railway traffic safety and order, not to encroach on sidewalks and railway safety corridors according to the Railway Law No. 95/2025/QH15 passed by the 15th National Assembly of Vietnam on June 27, 2025 and will take effect from January 1, 2026.
“The rail track - flower street” is an effective movement implemented by Nghia Binh Railway Exploitation Branch.
As of September 2025, all 27 stations under Nghia Binh Railway Exploitation Branch have organized labor to clean up the flower planting area in the station area, planted some types of flowers such as yellow apricot, purple afternoon flower, bougainvillea, orchid, frangipani... continuously coordinated with Railway Joint Stock Companies in implementing the "rail track - flower street" plan of Vietnam Railway Corporation.
In addition, the unit also coordinated with localities to implement the "rail track - flower street" plan at locations: Tra Kieu station, Thanh Khe station, Tam Ky station, Le Trach station and along the railway in Da Nang city. Accordingly, from March 2023 to September 2025, 3,200 trees and flowers were planted; with a total area of 7,439m2.
The branch assigned tasks to the stations to directly coordinate with the expertise and trade unions, youth of the units, in combination with the station area's union units to carry out the planting and care of trees and flowers.
The rail track - flower street is a movement to increase the propaganda about the Railway Law to the people, ensuring the safety of the railway corridor.
The leader of the Nghia Binh Railway Exploitation Branch said that combining the "rail track - flower street" movement with propaganda for people to strictly follow the Railway Law has brought many positive results when people know how to improve other landscapes such as picking up trash, collecting household waste on time, in the right place. Along with that, the movement has created a safe corridor and a clean, beautiful landscape in residential areas on the motto of ensuring practicality, suitability, efficiency, safety and savings.
