Hanoi University of Architecture solemnly held the 43rd Anniversary Ceremony of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20

Joining the nationwide spirit of gratitude toward teachers, on the morning of November 20th, 2025, Hanoi Architectural University solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20/11/1982 - 20/11/2025). The program aimed to honor the teaching staff, outstanding role models, and recognize the university’s remarkable achievements in training, scientific research, and innovation.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Lien - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Construction Structures and Technology, former Permanent Deputy Minister of Construction; representatives of Departments, Divisions, Institutes under the Ministry of Construction; representatives of training institutions, enterprises, professional organizations in the field of Architecture - Construction; representatives of domestic and international coordinating units; representatives of Hanoi City Police, the National Defense - Security Center and news agencies and press attended the ceremony.

On the side of the School, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Architect Le Quan - Principal; Dr. Architect Ngo Thi Kim Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal, Chairman of the School's Trade Union; Associate Professor, Dr. Architect Nguyen Tuan Anh - Vice Principal; former leaders of the School through the periods; representatives of the School Council, Party Committee, Trade Union, Youth Union, Student Association; leaders of units, staff, lecturers, trainees and students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Architect Le Quan expressed his gratitude to generations of teachers who have tirelessly contributed to the development of the School during more than half a century of formation and growth. From the early difficult days of wartime, through many stages of development, Hanoi University of Architecture has become a key training institution in the field of Architecture - Construction, gradually affirming its prestige and position in the process of industrialization and modernization of the country.

On behalf of the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Minh Hà presented flowers and congratulated the outstanding achievements in training and research, as well as the significant contributions of generations of leaders, lecturers, staff, and students of Hanoi Architectural University. The Deputy Minister noted that the University now has a growing team with 523 qualified lecturers; an expanded training portfolio with 31 undergraduate majors, part-time programs, 8 master’s specializations, and 5 doctoral specializations; and continuously upgraded facilities that meet the standards of a modern university.

Leaders of the Ministry of Construction assessed that the University plays an important role in training high-quality human resources, conducting scientific research, transferring technology, and promoting international integration, thereby contributing to enhancing the reputation of Vietnam’s construction sector. In the context of strong innovation within the industry in line with the Party’s and the State’s directives especially Resolution 71-NQ/TW on shifting from content-based training to competency-based training and the application of digital technologies, the Deputy Minister expressed confidence that, with its 56-year tradition and dedicated staff, Hanoi Architectural University would continue to achieve many accomplishments and contribute to the nation’s development.

On this occasion, the School announced Decision No. 79/QD-HDGSNN dated November 19th, 2025 of the Chairman of the State Council of Professors, Deputy Minister Pham Minh Ha presented the decision and flowers to congratulate 4 scientists who met the standards for the title of Professor and Associate Professor in 2025.

Specifically:

- Recognition of meeting the standards for the title of Professor for Mr. Vu Quoc Anh (Faculty of Construction);

- Recognition of meeting the standards for the title of Professor for Mr. Dinh Tuan Hai (Faculty of Construction);

- Recognition of meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor for Mr. Tran Trung Hieu (Faculty of Construction);

- Recognition of meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor for Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia (Institute of Open Training).

On this occasion, the University also presented a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training to Dr. Architect Ngô Thị Kim Dung, Vice President of Hanoi Architectural University, for her outstanding achievements in the emulation movement “Innovation and Creativity in Management, Teaching, and Learning” during the 2020-2025 period. A Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training was also awarded to the Training Department for its excellent achievements in the same emulation movement for the 2020-2025 period.

Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Construction were awarded to 21 individuals for the 2024-2025 academic year; Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Construction were also presented to 4 units and 21 individuals for the 2024–2025 academic year. In addition, commendations for “Outstanding Exemplars” were given to 17 individuals and 11 collectives for the 2024-2025 academic year; the title of “Outstanding Teacher” for 2024-2025 was awarded to 10 individuals; and gifts were presented to 14 training units of Hanoi Architectural University.
