Recently, in Da Nang city, the 2025 Safety Coordination Review Conference between Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM), Vietnam Airlines Corporation (VNA) and Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has taken place. Mr. Ho Minh Tan, Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV); representatives of the Department of Economic Security; the Department of Immigration Management; representatives of the Leaders and agencies and units of the 03 Corporations attended the Conference.

At the Conference, delegates focused on discussing and agreeing on the direction and tasks for 2026, focusing on solutions to continue improving coordination efficiency and ensuring operational safety.
Through the presentations presented at the Conference, the Conference identified the remaining risks in safety assurance and operations in 2025 to continue coordinating to handle. In particular, weather hazards and bird hazards are assessed as potentially high safety risks, requiring the implementation of control measures.

Mr. Ho Minh Tan, Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, spoke at the Conference.
Speaking at the Conference, Tan highly appreciated the coordination between the three Corporations. Many events in 2025 of the Vietnamese aviation industry were marked thanks to the cooperation of these three units.
At the same time, the Deputy Director also issued specific directives related to minimizing the risk of runway intrusion, reducing the altitude of the Tan Son Nhat no-fly zone, issuing instructions from Air Traffic Controllers, and operating capacity at Tan Son Nhat International Airport...
Also at the conference, representatives of the Traffic Security Division of the Economic Security Department; General Staff Division of the Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security acknowledged the contributions made by the three corporations to Vietnam’s aviation sector. They also asked parties to continue to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to handle recent outstanding issues such as signal interference at airports, management and control of battery/power bank use on flights...
The 2025 Safety Coordination Review Conference between the 3 Corporations was held according to the Aviation Safety Coordination Commitment signed between the 3 Corporations on November 3rd, 2023 in Hai Phong City. After 2 years of coordination, many safety issues have been discussed, agreed upon and promptly handled to improve the quality of service provision of the parties.
