At the meeting, Vice President of LEGO Group Preben Elnef updated the investment and construction progress of LEGO's Project in Binh Duong province and said that the Project has completed 61.7%, according to schedule and ensured to put a number of main items into operation from August 2024.
Vice President Preben Elnef thanked the Ministry of Construction for its support in LEGO during the project appraisal process. He also said that in the coming time, he will transfer work in Vietnam to the Senior Vice President in charge of Asia region of the LEGO Group Jessper Hassellund Mikkelsen.

Mr Jessper Hassellund Mikkelsen said that the LEGO Group highly appreciated the interest, cooperation and support of the Ministry of Construction in particular, and Vietnamese central ministries and branches in general and Binh Duong province to the Lego Group and hoped that in the coming time, they will continue to receive attention and support from the Ministry of Construction for LEGO Group projects in Vietnam, especially related to the inspection and acceptance of projects and construction items for putting into use.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung congratulated LEGO Group's projects in Vietnam to be scheduled and planned, and said that the Ministry of Construction always paid attention and guided LEGO as well as businesses and international partners implementing projects, especially construction investment projects in Vietnam under the current Vietnamese Law and created favorable conditions for investors to complete projects on schedule.

Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung noted that the LEGO Group needs to pay attention and ensure legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting for the Project. The Ministry of Construction will assign specialized units to provide specific guidance related to the inspection and acceptance of works and construction items of LEGO Projects under the regulations.
