Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tran Nam receives Amita Corporation of Japan

On October 17, 2014, at the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tran Nam had a meeting with Mr. Katsuhiko Sugie, General Manager of Abroad Bussiness, Amita Corporation of Japan.

At the meeting, Mr. Katsuhiko Sugie introduced to the Deputy Minister about the strengths and key areas that Amita Corporation is operating, such as waste treatment, waste recycling for industries, including waste treatment in cement factories. In addition, Amita also provides solutions, technology consulting on environment.

Currently, Amita intends to build a Vietnam-Japan joint-venture factory to apply the technology in cement production. Amita hopes to get supports from the Ministry of Construction in providing information for the Vietnamese enterprises to understand the technology and environmentally friendly benefits when applying its technology.

According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Tran Nam, the Ministry of Construction will coordinate with the Vietnam Cement Association in introducing the factories nearby big industrial areas so that Amita can survey. The Ministry of Construction will assign the units and organizations including the Department of Building Materials, Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with Amita to implement the proposed project.
